Another turn of excitement and weapons fire exchanges in the Draconis Cluster, as the POTW and SMIRS face off in three different systems! The BASH shuffle their feet a bit, build up stockpiles, and do not much else, quietly waiting for the SMIRS and POTW to exhaust themselves before striking. But then out of nowhere the Rhone pull off a ballsy move and send an expeditionary force to…the SMIRS homeworld!

Result: Fifth Antares. This is one hotly contested system! The POTW send a cruiser in to try and convince the SMIRS to please leave the system alone, but at 6:1 odds, the cruiser had no chance. After a brief exchange of fire, she slipped out of the system. Antares remains contested.
Location: Kochab
Result: The POTW send an expeditionary force to Kochab to open negotiations. They are met with hostilities and defend themselves, barely escaping with their lives.
Location: Alphard
Result: Another POTW expeditionary force. This, too, was met with hostile fire. However, unlike Kochab, this force had the Elbert, and in the ensuing battle the POTW prevailed over the less than hospitable SMIRS reception party. The system is now contested.
